Grades
Material Grades
The carbon fiber grade is selected to meet the mechanical requirements of the part. The correct grade is determined by specification, not by visual inspection.
T300
A widely used carbon fiber grade offering a balanced combination of strength and stiffness for general structural and machined parts.
T700
A higher-tensile carbon fiber grade used where additional strength is required in the finished component.
Weave
3K Weave Patterns
3K Twill
A weave with a diagonal pattern that drapes slightly more flexibly and produces a distinctive appearance.
3K Plain
A balanced 1×1 weave with a checkerboard appearance and good dimensional stability.
Finish
Surface Finish
Matte
A satin, non-reflective surface finish with a subtle, understated appearance.
Glossy
A smooth, high-gloss surface finish with a reflective appearance.
